It’s hard to not see “Serve” becoming a trap anthem in Chicago this year. G-Ville’s raspy, yet whimsical voice repeating“Serve the whole city” let’s us know his aims.
The eerie beat gives off an almost “Alternative Trap” feel. Halfway through the track, the voices switch up, introducing the voice of Prime Artist, Taylor Bennett. Bennett’s high pitched voice takes a deeper tone, complimenting G-Ville’s vibe; and the production. This is the first I’ve personally heard from G-Ville, and he definitely has dimension to his talents; making me to want to hear more.
